Narciss is one of the two Romanians whose contribution to the development of the project management domain was recognized by publishing in the PMI Knowledge Shelf a study about group dynamics. Bachelor in Computer Science and PMP Certified since 2006, Narciss is currently Managing Director of the PM Access company, but perhaps he is best known for the quality of his PMP training program and for the fact that more than 300 trainees have obtained PMP certification from the first try as a result of his training and coaching program.
Memories from a dead organization
Presentation description: There are companies where everyone agrees on certain organizational issues or actions but nothing changes or where “important meetings” are postponed to end by a tacit and enthusiastic consensus of those who should attend. There are other companies covered by reports, where managers spend their time checking one another’s work rather than leading and scanning the horizon for new opportunities or threats. Burdened with multiple layers of management, these companies tend to suffer from “analysis paralysis.” There are a lot of reports asked but no move after that. Or when they finally do move, they move slowly and reactively. Do you recognize these types of organizations? Or worse, do you work in such organizations?
Is there a way out of these situations? Or is everything lost? Join the presentation to find out a view on this situation, some answers and to share your opinion about that.
